What Makes Pakistan The Best Source Of Cotton?
Pakistan has always been the primary source for cotton, both in the past and present. In ancient times, the ancestors of modern-day Pakistanis meticulously used cotton to weave garments – garments that would be used by the classical cultures of Western civilization such as the Romans, Greeks, and the Egyptians. As time went by, it also got to the liking of the British and the far-flung peoples of Southeast Asia.
We can attribute this to the start of the cotton-cultivation industry of the Indus Valley civilization back then in 6000 BC. With cotton plants being grown and harvested in an organized, agricultural manner, the people learned how to make several uses of it in the course of time.On top of that, cotton was natively growing in the region, which means that the purity and quality of the said textile is the best that it can get throughout the whole world

Additionally, an estimated around 500,000 bales of cotton are being exported every year, with each bale estimated to be around 210 kilograms. With that said, the industrial scale at which cotton is grown is integral to one’s credibility.
